Although each traveler is different, we strongly
recommend adhering to this guide to how many areas you
should attempt to visit:

3 days or
under: Stick to one
area nearest the airport you fly
into. If there are more than one
pousadas in the area, you could stay in both,
but we suggest staying in one and doing
day-trips in the area.

4 to 6 days:
You can easily visit two or
maybe three areas, preferably
adjacent to each other. No more than 3
Pousadas, staying 2 nights in each, if
possible.

7 days or
more: To see each area in depth,
figure two or three areas
per week, and choose one Pousada as
your 'hub' per area.
