Paradores of Spain

22. Carmona
Seville

14th Century Arabic Fortress
Outstanding example of the exquisite Arabic are, its notable swimming pool, landscaped areas, courtyard, Mudéjar fountain, Salón Cupulín and terrace, present beautiful panoramic views over the fertile plain of the Corbones River.  Contrasting with functional conference rooms, the bedrooms offer wide spaces, luminous balconies and classical decoration.  The Bermejo room and the refectory, fitted out as dining rooms, share all this.

23. Cazorla
Jaén

In the Middle of Nature
In the heart of the Cazorla Nature Reserve, at the spot known as Sacejo, this Parador, due to the tranquillity of the area, has become and obligatory enclave for the lovers of nature fleeing from the noise of the world.  The dense vegetation that surrounds the building eases the enjoyment of its peaceful views.  The swimming pool is like a fresh oasis for the hot summer days.  Its interior has an atmosphere of soft shades and also is decorated with leather furniture, carpeting and bright, large windows.

24. Cervera de Pisuerga
Palencia

An Impressive Setting Between Nature and the Romanesque
The nobility and natural goodness of the Picos de Europa and the blue waters of the Ruesga reservoir give refuge to historical examples of the immortal Romanesque art, alongside the pure nature, a gift for the senses.  Faced with the surprises presented by visits to the surroundings, good taste can be found in the interior decoration of the Parador Fuentes Carrionas.  Wall, beams and ceilings covered with noble wood, chairs and armchairs upholstered in material and leather in shades from the same range of colors make up this Parador’s exquisite interior.

25. Céuta
Céuta

By the Sea with an “Andalusían” Air
This Parador occupies a modern building backing on to the ancient Royal Walls, brimming with Andalusian and Arabic details.  Some of the bedrooms are located in the former vaults of the Artillery Stores.  The garden and the swimming pool delimit the exterior, forming an admirable landscape, overflowing with palm trees and subtropical vegetation.

26. Ciudad Rodrigo
Salamanca

14th Century Castle
Constructed on a cleft on the fertile plain of the Águeda River and covered with ivy, the Torre del Homenaje is an unsurpassable observatory to contemplate the marvelous landscapes of the Campo Charro.  The color green occupies a privileged position here, as there is a well cared for garden.  An elegant interior, which combines friendly details and cheerful bedrooms with views, which conserve the former atmosphere of an impregnable bastion of the 14th century, built by Enrique de Trastamara.  Lastly, the dining room is noted for its stone arches.
